She draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Feminist Therapy. She further ensures that treatment remains trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and client-centered at every step of the way.

Sierra believes in building genuine, safe and warm relationships with clients. She strives to make therapy a space that is collaborative and non-judgemental. She believes that raising our self-awareness can help us to choose behaviours that are more functional and meaningful.
