CARE – Connected Access to Resources & Expertise

Bringing specialized mental health care directly into schools, camps, and youth performance environments, powered by the TPWG multidisciplinary team.

Why Schools and Organizations Choose CARE?

Schools and youth organizations are facing rising rates of anxiety, eating disorders, and emotional distress. However, support is often reactive, delivered by non-specialists, and disconnected from clinical care pathways. Through the CARE Program, TPWG bridges the gap between community concern and clinical care, offering rapid specialized and multi-level support as part of our clinical-led wellbeing model.

The CARE Difference

Same week
access

Youth are seen by the right specialist within the same week of referral, not months from now.

The right
specialist

A team of specialists (including clinical psychologists, physicians, dietitians, eating disorder specialists, etc) that offer deep expertise in adolescent mental health, and development.

School/organization embedded

We work within your environment, your language, and your existing systems while tailoring materials and presentations to your institutional mission, values and community audience.

Whole-community

We support students, parents and staff together through education, interventions and resource sharing in order to close the loop in clinical care.

What this means for your organization

● Earlier identification of at-risk youth
● More informed, better-equipped staff and parents
● Reduced escalation to crisis-level presentations
● A clear path forward for youth and families

The Three Tier CARE Model

CARE Prevent

Workshops and seminars that build shared language and early awareness for youth, parents, and/or staff.

CARE Respond

Targeted on-site or virtual rapid support via 1-3 day small group sessions, staff consults and/or parent education based on emerging needs.

CARE Partner

Ongoing, embedded partnership with direct referral pathways, priority case consultation and collaboration with TPWG clinicians.

CARE Frequently Asked Questions

Who delivers the CARE program?

CARE is delivered by TPWG’s experienced clinical team, which includes clinical psychologists, physicians, eating disorder specialists, registered dietitians, and specialized therapists.

Do we have to commit to all three tiers?

No. Organizations can enter at any tier based on their needs. Most schools/organizations tend to begin with CARE Prevent, then develop and deepen the partnership over time. This allows for the most comprehensive understanding and personalized tailoring to your institution.

What topics do the workshops cover?

Workshop topics and content is always tailored to your community’s specific needs, delivered in developmentally appropriate ways. These may include anxiety and emotional regulation, eating disorders and body image, performance pressure, resilience, healthy relationships, puberty, and problematic behaviours.

Can CARE provide support virtually or only on-site?

Our clinical team can deliver workshops, consultations, and support either on-site at your location or virtually, depending on your preferences and needs.

What happens if a student needs clinical care beyond what CARE provides on-site?

CARE provides a direct bridge from organization-based concerns to clinical care. Students and families are connected to TPWG’s clinical team through a clear referral pathway, ensuring continuity of care within the same week.
