Generally these sessions are reserved for new mothers or fathers, or individuals who are physically unable to travel to our office. Please contact us to determine if you would be eligible or may benefit from in-home support.
We offer various therapeutic groups to support our clients’ unique emotional journeys. These groups include:
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Group:
We offer separate DBT skills groups for both adolescents and adults. Designed for individuals struggling with impulsive behaviours and emotion dysregulation, participants will learn to develop and implement mindfulness skills, regulate their emotions, better tolerate distress, communicate with others more effectively, and improve balance in their thought, behaviour, and daily lives.
Mindfulness for Beginners:
Learn about the physical and emotional benefits of mindfulness. Develop practical skills to apply to your everyday life. Achieve balance, peace and lasting wellness.
This group is designed to support new mothers as they navigate the challenges of parenthood, and learn to overcome anxious and/or depressed thoughts and feelings associated with having a baby.
Please note that groups typically run weekly, for 8 to 12 weeks.
For a complete list of current group offerings or to sign up for a group, please contact our office.
We provide psychological assessments to assist in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning, depending on the client’s needs and goals. We accept self-referrals, as well as referrals from physicians, lawyers, and insurance companies.
To make a referral, or inquire further about our assessment services, please contact us.
Whether you live outside the GTA, are frequently travelling, or unable to attend a session in-office, we offer videoconferencing sessions with one of our psychologists via VSEE, a secure videoconferencing site, at no additional charge to you.
