TPWG - Toronto Psychology & Wellness Group - Megha Nagar
Megha Nagar completed both her Master’s and PhD in School/Clinical Child Psychology at McGill University. She is registered as a Psychologist in Supervised Practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Megha works with adolescents who struggle with emotion dysregulation, self-harm, anxiety, depression, obsession-compulsive disorder, disordered eating, and trauma.

Megha completed her clinical training in both community mental health and hospital settings. During her time in Montreal, she was trained at Batshaw Youth and Family Centres (Montreal’s child protective services) and at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in the inpatient psychiatry unit. Megha also worked at a private clinic, Grey Zone Psychology and Wellness, where she learned how to provide comprehensive and adherent DBT services.

Recently, Megha completed her clinical psychology residency at Kinark Child and Family Services, where she worked with clients who had complex clinical presentations, many of whom had a history of trauma, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

Megha provides both assessment and intervention services, specializing in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her extensive training and passion for these modalities allow her to offer a comprehensive and tailored approach to each individual she works with. Megha’s compassionate and warm demeanour creates a safe space for adolescents to open up about their struggles. Through collaborative and goal-oriented therapy, Megha empowers her clients to build a values-driven life.

Outside of work, Megha enjoys spending time with her loved ones, going on hikes, trying new restaurants, and travelling.
