TPWG - Toronto Psychology & Wellness Group - Gwenne Woodward

Gwenne Woodward is a Registered Social Worker who received her Master’s Degree from Rutgers University, after a career as a musician and Music Therapist.

Over the course of many years, Gwenne has worked primarily in the Public Health system, both in mental health and addictions.

For the past sixteen years, Gwenne has worked with clients diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder who experience anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression. She focuses on helping clients and their families find long-term and life-worth-living solutions rather than short-term crisis-generating behaviours.

Gwenne brings evidence-based treatments, compassion, and creativity to her work. She is trained in Structured Relapse Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), DBT- PE Protocol (for the treatment of trauma), and DBT for Eating Disorders. Gwenne enjoys teaching and training and has a passion for co-leading adult intensive DBT Skills Groups.

When Gwenne is not working, she enjoys being in nature, gardening, reading mysteries, and listening to music. She enhances her life by adopting stray animals that find their way to her door.
