Dr. Geneva Millett completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. Geneva has completed clinical training across a number of sites including Toronto General Hospital in the Eating Disorders Program, private practice settings (Oakville Centre for Cognitive Therapy, CBT Associates), St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton in the Eating Disorders Clinic, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in the Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre in the Residential Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) program, and the Family Health Team at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Geneva’s therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy and client-centered care. She incorporates elements of other evidence-based modalities based on her clients’ unique presentations, including mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy. At the Toronto Psychology and Wellness Group, Geneva works with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, OCD, depression, sleep, and concerns related to body image and eating.
