Dawn Cronin, M.A., RP

Dawn Cronin is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and an honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology. She provides evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults faced with a wide range of mental health concerns including eating disorders, disordered eating behaviours, anxiety, self harm, suicidality, depression, and personal growth. Dawn has worked both within the hospital and community setting supporting those living with an eating disorder. Dawn also has experience providing psychotherapy with individuals, groups, and families.
Dawn’s approach is down-to-earth, compassionate, and client centered. Dawn utilizes various modalities within her practice such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Dawn offers a non-judgemental and warm environment in her sessions. She aims to support her clients at whatever stage they are in. Dawn values creating individualized treatment goals with her clients to promote meaningful change.
Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with friends and family, nestling up to a good book, and exploring new trails with her chocolate lab.
