Dr. Lee Propp, Ph.D. C.Psych
Clinical & School Psychologist
Dr. Lee Propp completed her Master’s degree at the University of Toronto. She works with children, adolescents, and recently added work with adults (supervised) to her practice. She sees clients with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, emotion dysregulation, social and relationship concerns, and complex trauma.
Dr. Propp’s therapeutic approach is integrative and draws on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and relational frameworks. She aims to create a collaborative and non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe and accepted. Dr. Propp also often works with caregivers to support their children’s needs.
Dr. Propp has trained in hospital, community mental health, school board, and private practice settings. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK), a community mental health agency serving the Halton region, with rotations in outpatient therapy, comprehensive assessment, assessment for fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), and in the agency walk-in clinic. She completed placements at the Toronto District School Board, the OISE Psychology Clinic, Kidcrew Pediatric Medical Clinic, and Toronto Western Hospital, and has worked in private practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Propp enjoys cooking and baking, doing the daily crossword, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Stevie.
