Emma has completed clinical training at the University of Windsor’s Psychological Services and Research Centre (PSRC), where she has gained experience in both assessment and therapy. She has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. She has worked with individuals with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and disordered eating. Having grown up in Northern Ontario, she has a unique insight into the challenges that can result from limited access to mental health services in rural and underserved areas. This experience has fueled her commitment to providing accessible, compassionate, and effective care for individuals who may face barriers to treatment, have diverse needs, and come from varied backgrounds. Emma is inspired by the resilience that exists within human stories and she is passionate about approaching her work with curiosity and empathy. In her work, Emma takes a collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy, with the aim of guiding clients toward their goals and path to healing.
In addition to her clinical training, she is a certified yoga and meditation instructor and enjoys incorporating mindfulness and mind-body approaches into therapy.
Outside of her studies and clinical work, Emma enjoys spending time in nature, baking, sewing, and running. Her appreciation for balance, creativity, and wellness informs both her personal life and her work with clients.
