Struggling to Launch: A Workshop for Parents of Emerging Adults
Date: Monday, April 7th 5:00-6:00PM EST (virtual Zoom event)
This is a one-hour workshop for parents of young adults who are struggling to “launch” into adulthood. This can be a challenging time for both young adults and their families. This workshop helps to provide some guidance to parents on what is keeping their young adult children stuck and will provide some initial guidelines on how to move forward. Parents are encouraged to attend the workshop if they have a child over the age of 18, who is not actively involved in education, employed and still being supported at home or at the expense of parents. This workshop is based on the “Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions- Failure to Launch (SPACE-FTL)” Protocol developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz.
