Clinical Intake Coordinator
Sonia Catalli is a graduate of the University of Guelph where she received her BSc in Biology and Psychology. She is currently pursuing her MA in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and hopes to continue her work with youth as a Registered Psychotherapist. She has two years of direct clinical experience as an Instructor Therapist working with children and teens with neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, Sonia has a diverse background in mental health work and advocacy including roles within non-profits, hospitals, and schools. She currently volunteers as a Reviewer for an academic psychology student magazine- Mindpad and as a Crisis Responder for the Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone.
Sonia is interested in specializing in youth psychology, especially in the areas of mood disorders, coping mechanisms, and resilience. At the clinic, she assists with client intake and is thrilled to continue growing and pursuing her passion for psychology as a part of the TPWG team.
In her spare time, Sonia loves to read, spend time with family and friends, and hang out with her adored cat Betty!
