Medical Monitoring via TPWG+MD

 TPWG is the first and only private clinic in Ontario to offer OHIP-covered medical monitoring with a physician as part of a comprehensive Eating Disorder Program. This was born from a need to have consistent monitoring by a physician specifically trained in the assessment and management of Eating Disorders.

With fewer individuals having a family doctor to turn to for regular monitoring, this service provides consistent care and access with minimal waits and barriers. Where desired, our physicians or nurse practitioner can provide regular monitoring, medical support, and medication management.

Currently, this service is available to clients under 18 years of age and requires a physician referral and a valid OHIP card for access. Those over 18 are able to receive medical monitoring through our Nurse Practitioner within our Adult Eating Disorder Program.
